Not any longer but at another company we used a bunch of those switches which if i'm not mistaken were rebadged 3com internals... they has a severe bug in their STP algo and never fixed it... this fortune company I worked for ripped all of these ibm switches out and replaced everything (at considerable expense) with, at the time, 6509's. We were actually dealing with actual developers of the STP code who I think were actually in Europe at the time and they couldn't get it right...
