Re: Hundreds of sites with hundreds of dependencies

There is a consistent naming structure and I thought about that, setting up dependencies manually in the database.  But is there any reason not to have what will amount to 800 dependencies?  (the server dependent on the switch, the switch dependent on the router... times 400 sites)

I worry that will make a mess of the dependencies and make it difficult to maintain.
