Means we can extract inventory from report writer with status but we need a date & time when it goes down.

Unfortunately there is no error that appears in the web console. The procedure appears to run through normally however when you go back and browse the node the interfaces were never deleted.
Is there a log some place on the polling engine I can look at?

Why are there nodata?
Whether this is dueto the fact that theCPUis loadedalmoston100%?

Its looks like the Nodes table did not get updated correctly therefor the option to unmanage might be still disabled .
This could happen when you have very large DB or under specification application server with very low CPU sockets assigned / OR high numbers of Elements + Pollers are been monitored within the single server .
I would use to have the manual option to update the table through SQL Query .
Please try the below steps.
Firstly find the effected nodes and the nodesids for these nodes.
use the below SQL Query and replace the Nodeids and use the Orion DB Manager to update ,
Update Nodes set UnManaged = "FALSE" where NodeID IN (1174,1175,1513)
Once done check the results. again this looks like performance issues on the App server or on SQL server .
Further MUST install HOTFIX 6 below on all or your Orion servers.

one app monitor template with varying components for each node?
I want to have one app monitor template under that is it possible to do below:
component A. B applicable to node 1 (comp A, B only exist in node 1 as windows service)
Component C, D applicable to node 2 (comp C, D only exist in node 2 as windows service)
all components are unique. hence i don't want to create 2 diff template, however reason for having them in one temp is that both node 1 and 2 relate to same business service so i want to call the template "bus-service..."

You will need a flow capable device, typically your router, firewall or a Core switch. Configure the device to send the flows to SolaWinds Netflow Trafffic Analyzer collection port (2055 by default)
